EDURain is a fintec startup aimed at helping college students get bridge loans to access off campus housing (and other services). CEO Bryon Pierson says tapping into his personal contacts with bar owners opened up the door for an event that didn’t break his budget. Creative marketing, leveraging what he’s got instead of trying to fund what he can’t afford at the moment. He has contacts in the St. Louis bar scene, so EDURain held a bar crawl where they asked people to wear their school apparel to show their affiliation.
