Rezilient Health just closed an oversubscribed seed round for $2.5 million led by Unseen Capital with participation from TechStars, Headwater VC, the Council, and the Living Fund.
“The money allows us to stand up the infrastructure and employees” as they set up clinics in the St. Louis area, Rezilient CTO Jeff Gamble, Ph.D. told the 4thEst8. “It also allows us to go to other employers in the area to expand our offerings… and deploy clinics in Miami in early 2022.”‘
Founded in 2016 Rezilient is setting up clinics with digital devices to bring in doctors remotely. Their membership-based primary care practices use their video platform and technology, supplemented by in-person nurses to assist remote doctors. The company expects to open its first clinics in the city of St. Louis as well as St. Louis County by the end of the year, followed by clinics in Miami.
CrunchBase reports the startup raised $1.5 million in capital prior to this round. It is headquartered in St. Louis, MO. The startup has six full time employees and is interviewing to hire two software engineers right now.
