Black In Tech had it’s inaugural gathering Sunday at Open Concept in The Grove district of St. Louis.

Open Concept is a black owned business, and that’s important to Black In Tech organizer Bryon Pierson.

“If we’re going to put on events like this we should put them in spaces owned by black folks in town,” Pierson told the 4thEst8.  “Everything should build, and be supportive across industry.”
