In a pilot program partnership with SRC Holdings the labor digital marketplace AgButler moves into the manufacturing space.

“Our platform is designed to bring employers and employees together,” CEO Kevin Johansen shared with bizblip in an email statement. “This expansion… opens up an entirely new category of employers we can serve.”

Up until now the platform has focused on connecting farmers and agricultural workers. It is in 42 states and operating mostly out of revenue following the launch of a paid Beta in early 2021.

SRC Holdings of Springfield, MO is an automotive remanufacturing facility.

The Lebanon, MO-based AgButler got its start in July 2018 with a little funding from the Efactory Accelerator of Missouri State University, followed by a win at the Pure Pitch Rally in Kansas City and an undisclosed small investment from accredited investors close to the founders in 2020. It also received a value-added grant from the Missouri Dept. of Agriculture and Small Business Authority.
