Early stage startup Redpoint Summit closed it seed round and anticipates launching its software in the fourth quarter of this year. The healthcare software startup is using AI to reduce clinician burnout by increasing efficiencies in electronic medical record keeping.
“We’ve been working with (Nebraska Med Center in Omaha)… and they are the sole investor in my seed round,” CEO Chuck Schneider told bizblip. “Those funds allowed me to hire two full time employees, so now I have a technical peron and a senior product manager.. and that is essential.”
The Kansas City startup launched in November, 2021 and now has three full time employees. Details of the now closed seed round were not disclosed. Prior to this the startup was boostrapped.
“It was just myself and there was no funding, no paycheck,” Schneider said. “It was me, working on my own to see if I could come up with a good business problem to be solved.”
