Just at 50 founders, venture capitalists, entrepreneur support personnel and ecosystem super fans gathered at T-Rex for last nights pitch show down. A year in the making, PGS-Grudge match featured seven startup founders who participated in one of the 2022 events but wanted to show off how much they’ve grown their early stage startup in the intervening months.
Contenders:
- Jabberwocky
- TimeBolt
- Visual Intelligence
- Da Hood Talks
- Approach Dating
- Buswell Biomedical
- Shades of Color
Shades of Color took first place, along with the giant foam check (and a real one for $500) but because judges insisted that it was such a dead heat the second place contestant, TimeBolt, was awarded two paid tickets to bizblip’s upcoming Founders Only – Fall Camp, and emcee Emily Hemingway added an annual membership in the Tech Council of Greater St. Louis. Approach Dating took third place.
bizblip publisher, and Pitches Get Stitches organizer, Paul Riat announced the launch of a new, online, video pitch competition that serves as a qualifier for future PGS events. Blippy Pitch can only be seen by bizblip subscribers (paid or free) and they get to vote on the weekly winner.
