Come On Now, formerly known as SureShow, was built to help medical practitioners replace their missed medical appointments with telehealth visits. Now, the focus has shifted to early childhood Headstart, pediatric, and those with chronic diseases or special needs.
“We’re providing clinical services for those, and then we’re also making sure that they’re able to get the notifications and scheduling that they need so that they can meet their healthcare requirements. So they’ll be kindergarten ready,” Dr. Shelley Cooper, Come On Now CEO, told bizblip.Come On Now has recently added Spanish to its platform and is working to add Arabic, Swahili, Somali, and French. This is in response to the needs of Headstart families whose first language is not English.
“Not only is the app now going to be in those languages, but the clinical side is also available in multiple languages already. So we’re offering it to other countries as well,” said Dr. Cooper.
The company is also expanding its reach to other countries. In October, cooperr will be speaking in London to the African diaspora of needs.
Founded in Kansas City, KS in Dec. 2019 as SureShow, Come On Now sprang out of Cooper’s tele-health service business when she saw the need for an app to fill no-show doctors appointments with billable tele-medicine visits. She’s the only full time employee.
