CareSignal was just acquired by the Texas-based Lightbeam Health Solutions. Details of the acquisition were not immediately available.

CareSignal offers text and phone-based patient monitoring in real-time, using patient data and machine learning, to improve clinical health outcomes in chronic and behavioral health.

CareSignal, formerly Epharmix, was founded in St. Louis in 2016. According to CrunchBase it raised $7.5M in two seed rounds and a Feb. 2020 institutional round. Investors include 1984 Ventures, Nueterra Capital, UnityPoint Health Ventures, OSF Ventures and Cultivation Capital. Blake Marggraff didn’t respond to a phone request for an interview. Cultivation Capital’s William Schmidt did not immediately respond to a request sent through LinkedIn.
