Lucas Ramsey, Dashh CEO

“I own a car detailing company out of St. Louis, Missouri. We were founded in 2014,” Lucas Ramsey told the 4thEst8. “We detail both in-house and ‘mobily’ for over 300 clients.”

One of the problems in the remote detailing industry, where the detail-er goes to the clients home or workplace to clean a client’s vehicle, is that the consumer doesn’t know if the independent contractor is safe, reputable and reliable.

Ramsey designed the Dashh app to connect mobile car detailing service providers with people who want their services, while assuring the customer that the person they’re hiring is reputable. The website and app just cleared MVP, minimally viable product, and Ramsey is looking for money to further develop the software.

“We’re looking to raise $50,000 in $5,000 increments,” Ramsey said. “In exchange for that $5,000 increment… you get 1% in Class A stock in the company.”

Ramsey and his partner Don Gunther formed Dashh LLC in October, 2019. Ramsey has worked with Progress 64 West for a couple years on the project, and has entered pitch competitions at St. Louis University School of Business, Maryville University, the University of Mississippi School of Business and Venture Cafe St. Louis.
