FeatsClub is a platform that allows end-users to log extracurricular activities like sports, clubs, and volunteering to build a verifiable portfolio. The startup just launched its Beta and signed its first paid customer, providing event registration and ticketing for the non-profit Soorya Performing Arts.

Nagendra Sanjeeva, FeatsClub CEO

“We issued certificates based on the trustworthy data, but we provided a platform facilitating all payments,”  CEO Nagendra Sanjeeva told bizblip. The startup made about $300 through ticket sales, but more important than even the validation… this Beta experience helped FeatsClub understand friction points for further refinement.

FeatsClub also handled membership management for Sangoma Kannada Association, processing around $5,000 in family membership fees.

“Out of all of these, we learned something great,” Sanjeeva said. “We were an app-only platform, but people won’t install the app on day one, so we quickly built a web presence.”

The bootstrapped company is founder-funded, headquartered in Chesterfield, MO, was a project for three years but officially launched thisJanuary, and has two full-time employees and 15 contractors.
