“He’s helping us rebuild the platform so we can get our first customers on and paying this summer,” ZenHammer CEO Edwin Williams told bizblip.

The Johnson City, TN-based construction software company provides time data tracking software for construction sites. The company’s mobile app collects real-time labor and productivity data, which is then delivered to general contractors, trade workers, and other stakeholders in the industry.

Started in June of 2019, the startup employs two full-time staff, previously received $60,000 in Arch Grant funding in 2021. ZenHammer has also raised additional capital through a friends and family round and a $50,000 investment from the Erie, Pennsylvania Chamber of Commerce in 2022.

The addition of Locke’s technical expertise is a major milestone for ZenHammer as it prepares to launch its construction productivity tracking tools to its first wave of paying customers. The startup plans to roll out its platform to three beta companies in June, with the goal of establishing a proven customer base and securing additional funding to fuel further expansion.
