Pitches Get Stitches is the premiere early-stage pitch competition in the region… and, yes, it is put on by News Lab Inc., the parent company of bizblip… so we’re biased!
Early stage founders from Tulia Feminine Care, JAKAPA, StockSwap, DEMIblue Natural Nails and Shades of Color competed for $500, a giant check, and a rent-free year at T-Rex.
Judges include Kathleen Klein from T-Rex, Vikram Lakhwara of Green Cow VC and Anjie Sanford of BioGenerator. The foam check went to Michelle Robinson of DEMIblue. Shades of Color came in 2nd with Tulia taking 3rd and crowd favorite.
