The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals invited HomeTraq CEO Mark Gorman to speak about technology changes in the real estate and mortgage industries at its upcoming conference.
“We’ll be exposed to nation wide lenders and realestate agents, with the possiblilty of expanding in many new markets,” Gorman told bizblip.
HomeTraq offers home buyers the ability to get an agent to open up a house they want to see without commitment or being automatically put on that agent’s call list. The St. Louis startup distributes its platform through banks, credit unions and mortgage companies to help them retain customers.
Founded in 2019 the platform has customer banks in St. Louis, Jefferson City, Columbia, Mo. and Kansas City and partnered with BeyondHousing. HomeTraq has six full time employees and six part time contractors. The company landed an Arch Grant (as well as a follow-on investment), as well as investments from Capital Innovators, RevTech Labs, Carolinas Fintech Ventures and individual investors. Altogether it raised a bit over $1.2 million in pre-seed money.
NAHREP TechCon 2023 is August 15-18 and is a virtual event.
