Free Health Screening at Be Well Farmers Market.

Many types of screenings and tests can catch a disease before it starts or in its early stages. This is critical for keeping health problems from developing into chronic conditions.

The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis Community Health Mobile Van in partnership with BJC HealthCare will be at Be Well Farmers Market, 2027 Salisbury, St. Louis, MO  63107 this Saturday, August 20th from 9:00 am – 12:00 noon.

The Health Mobile Van will be offering free baseline health screenings that include:

  • Blood Pressure –  High blood pressure usually has no symptoms and cannot be detected without being measured. High blood pressure increases risk of heart disease and stroke.
  • Glucose – A blood glucose test is used to find out if your blood sugar levels are in a healthy range. It is often used to help diagnose and monitor diabetes.
  • Cholesterol – High Cholesterol increases your risk for heart disease and stroke, two leading causes of death in the United States.

No appointment is necessary.  You Must be at least 18 years of age to be screened.

Complete your screenings and get a Be Well Buck for $1.00 off any purchases from our vendors!  (One coupon per person)
