Sport-related social app Subi just launched a KickStarter campaign seeking $10,000.

It will go toward “scaling the application, adding features, fixing bugs and bringing some people on for the marketing aspect,” founder Mohamud Abdi told 4thEst8. Onboarding users is also a priority. “I’m connecting with mentors and peers that are in the marketing world to kind of help me gain some knowledge in that area.”

Subi is a social app that connects people around sport activities, essentially helping them find pick-up games in soccer, lacrosse or the like. Abdi launched the company in February and it’s on the App Store and Google Play. The company is headquartered in Kansas City, MO and Abdi is the sole employee.
