St. Louis startup founder Bronwyn Morgan just got back from the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, where she served as a judge at the 6th annual Women And Drones awards ceremony.
“I had a great chance to partner with women,” the CEO of Xeo Air told bizblip. “The 2023 Women of the Year, across entrepreneurship, leadership, education and so many other areas of growth in the drone sector.”
Xeo Air was founded in January, 2017 and maintains dual headquarters in St. Louis and Atlanta. It has three full time employees and a score of contractors… mostly FAA certified and insured drone pilots. The company serves the construction, telecom, civil infrastructure, energy, oil and gas as well as the insurance industries by providing sensor capabilities for inspection and mapping as well as data capture. The company has raised more than $45,000 through grants from organizations like the T-Rex GeoSeed Grant Program, the SoGal Foundation and the U.S. Black Chamber.
While at CES, Morgan naturally explored all the new technology and has a report about what she found interesting on her Xeo Cast podcast, due to drop in a few days. (Link below)
“Especially around electric and autonomous cars, I think we’re going to see quick movement in that direction… everything from the new BlackBerry connected vehicle, to what Mercedes and BMW are doing, ” she said. “We also talked to industry leaders across the drone sector.”
