ZenHammer CEO Edwin Williams accepted an appointment to the National Association of Home Builders, at the national level. He’s on the Associate Members Committee, for members who are not builders themselves, but have businesses that support builders. Williams served on a different committee for the association several years ago, but stepped down.
“I felt like I was having major imposter syndrome,” Williams told bizblip. “This time when they asked, it’s several years later… I know the industry much better and I felt much more comfortable.”
ZenHammer is a mobile app for residential subcontractors to manage their workflow and invoicing. The company was lured to St. Louis from Johnson City, Tennessee as part of the 2021 cohort of Arch Grants recipients. Serving on a trade association committee is not a hard-sell situation for Williams, who says he’s just happy to serve.
“My job is to help develop programs and help them with service members… with services to do business better,” he said. “It’s all about building relationships.”
ZehHammer launched in June 2019, is headquartered in TechArtista, downtown St. Louis and has two part time employees. Williams is the only full time employee.
