From June, 2021 through February 2022 Fitic connected some 41 fitness content creators with potentially paying online clients, but founder says it’s time to move on.

“I’m grateful for everyone who helped forward Fitic’s mission,” Jake Heyen told the 4thEst8. “But engagement was not what I had hoped… I’ve taken a position at Playbook.”

Heyen put out a statement about his move via his LinkedIn page.

Playbook Technologies is a New York startup in the same general space – fitness, social, gig — but it was founded in 2017 and has raised more than $12 million.

Fitic got a fair amount of media attention, with feature articles from Startland News and KC INNO as recently as October and November of 2021 — and on the 4thEst8 last August.
