GiftAMeal signed on partner Lehigh Valley Restaurant Group, representing 21 Red Robin franchise locations in Pennsylvania.
“It’s the largest franchise-only deal we’ve ever done,” GiftAMeal CEO Andrew Glantz told bizblip. “This builds off our work with Lee’s Chicken at the corporate level… we look forward to getting into more high-value franchise groups across the country.”
Just two weeks ago the for-profit marketing company with a socially conscious mission brought on it’s fourth full chain, Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken. Chain partnerships are the startups key strategy to enter new markets. Through its free mobile app users take a photo of their order at more than 500 GiftAMeal partner restaurants. For every post to social media, GiftAMeal makes a donation to a local food bank to cover a meal for someone in need. GiftAMeal partners pay a monthly subscription, partly for the marketing aspect of the service and partly to support the food bank effort. Markets include St. Louis, Chicago, Kansas City as well as parts of North Carolina, New Hampshire and now Pennsylvania.
