InvestMidwest wraps up this morning from two days of pitches and presentations. Billing itself as the premiere venture event in the region InvestMidwest highlights industry sectors that include life sciences, technology, and food and agriculture. These startups are typically seeking between $1 million and $20 million in funding and (except for biotech) project revenue of $20 million within five years.

Ann Arbor to Nebraska to Texas and North Carolina – the “Midwest” region is pretty expansive, drawing more than 50 companies as well as dozens of venture capital firms from within and without our region.
