“Launch a startup in one weekend.”

That’s what drew well over 100 aspiring founders from across the region to Columbia, Mo. Hosted by Scale, and held in the offices of mid-state unicorn EquipmentShare, Friday activity involved two minute pitches and team assembly. Anyone with an idea was encouraged to pitch, and then participants voted with their bodies by joining teams to fill the founder’s specific talent requests. Then they got busy refining the idea into a business plan ready to launch by Monday.
