Early stage founders who are preparing to get in front of stakeholders with their vision need to practice pitching their value propositions — and get used to asking them for things. That’s why TechSTL and ITEN formed the Velocity Accelerator… dragging in a slew of mentors to help.

The pitch is the end product, but the deep value that leads up to it is the work they do to validate the need for their idea,”  David Weaver, Transitions Law Group founder and Velocity mentor told bizblip. “They then begin to form a viable business model.”

The graduation event was also an informal sendoff for exiting ITEN Executive Director Melissa Grizzle, who joins the Missouri Technology Corporation to handle startup investments.
