SafeBeat Rx took home the $500 prize money at VentureCafe-St. Louis’ Pitch Night competition, held every third Thursday.

“It just really validates what we’re doing here” CEO Rachita Navara told the 4thEst8. ”The $500 will be the first check that we write to our programmer in order to help make this technology a reality for our patients.
SafeBeat Rx is developing technology to lower the diagnostics bar for medical doctors to safely get patients on heart medications. Right now that is done by putting a patient in a hospital bed and hooking them up to a bunch of monitors for a few days but that SafeBeat Rx wants to rig up patients so they can get dialed in while at home. The St. Louis company was founded in October, 2020.
